All participants and attendees of Sound In Museum events must agree with the following conditions. If you do not agree to these conditions, do not register or attend any Sound in Museum events.
These conditions apply to all Sound In Museum events, including events that are in-person, paid, free, talks, workshops, tours, social events, etc.
Please be respectful of all present. Sound in Museums is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. Harassment includes offensive comments or behavior related to gender, age, sexual orientation, mental or physical abilities, appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or lack thereof, technology choices, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwarranted photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from events without a refund at the discretion of the Sound In Museum organizers. Sponsors, presenters, hosts, and instructors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Sound In Museum staff immediately. Sound In Museum staff will be happy to help participants contact security or local law enforcement or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the events. We value your attendance.

Sound in Museums events may be photographed, livestreamed, and/or recorded by the event organizers. By registering or attending Sound in Museums events you are granting your explicit permission to be recorded and potentially published.
Refunds are not available, except if an event is cancelled due to unforseen circumstances or low enrollment.
You may transfer event tickets to another person who qualifies for the same ticket type by emailing info@soundinmuseums.com. Tickets for the main conference may be transferred until October 10th. Please supply the name, affiliation, and email address of the new person when making a transfer request.
